One Day In Torun
06:37
While waiting for the check out time of the hostel we rented, we went to Rynek for the second time in the morning. Walking through the streets in the winter were not easy because we needed to cope with the windy, yet we were entertained with some pieces of artwork lined up on the wall of the neighborhood.
We had three hours before we have to leave this city, hence we decided to give a short visit to Nicolaus Copernicus Museum. I vaguely remembered the story of him because when I was in high school, I loved to read the book of the inventor. He was a Renaissance mathematician and astronomer who formulated a model of the universe that placed the sun rather than earth at the center of the universe. Many of the students came to the museum, while their teacher explained them about who and what Nicolaus Copernicus did. I didn't have a chance for eavesdropping because they used polish not English. Anyway, we needed to pay 8 Zl to enter the museum.
We spent 2 hours there for twirling floor by floor, read the history, fascinating with the masterpiece, how can he found the complicated name of the star-like Sagittarius (I put it on first because It's my zodiac!).
